Centrally located in Midland and always a great option, Johnny’s Barbecue has been serving up a delicious brisket for around seventy years. That’s a lot of experience, and it shows. Johnny’s covers all the basics with style, from the black oak sausage to the St. Louis pork ribs, it’s always a popular lunchtime and dinnertime destination for us.

KD’s Bar-B-Q

Sometimes you need some choices with your BBQ, and that’s what you get at KD’s Bar-B-Q. KD’s arrived in Midland in 1997 and has been a favorite ever since. We love it too, with great-tasting brisket that melts in your mouth. The service and great and so are the portions, which keep us filled up when we return to the dealership.

Mac’s Bar-B-Q

Mac’s is a small chain that began in Brady, and opened a location in Midland. Headlined by the Braveheart Black Angus Brisket, Mac’s Bar-B-Q is a great place to fill up after a long day. Mac’s started out feeding roughnecks in the oil industry and the Roughneck Pie is a great way to satisfy a lunch craving. You can have it with traditional frito pie or fresh-cut fries and smothered with brisket, beans, and a choice of toppings that includes cheese, onions, and their original Mac’s Bar-B-Q sauce.

Browns Bar B Q 

Browns Bar B Q LLC is a great combination of BBQ and Tex Mex. Their menu is stuffed with burritos, wraps, and fajitas, built with some of the best Texas BBQ you’ll taste. We love the variety, because if we’re not in the mood for brisket (that’s rare, we admit) there’s a huge number of delicious options on the menu, from lobster roll to fried chicken and waffles.
