Along his journey, he encounters friendly caroling worms, dancing poinsettias, Nutcracker soldiers, mischievous mice, and an evil Rat King. During the Christmas season, the annual Comanche Trail Park Festival of Lights boasts more than 1 million lights displayed in the park. More than 10,000 people attend the event every year. The Festival of Lights features various themes and silhouettes highlighted by a stunning display of large poinsettias on the dam of Comanche Trail Lake.
